Save money, buy this one first

Being new to deep water aerobics, we knew we needed a floatation belt. Like most folks will, we went to Amazon and purchased two "budget" belts @ $25 each, they were poor quality and did not provide enough buoyancy for either myself or my wife. We then purchased another belt @ $45 which gave more buoyancy but, would ride up and pinch at the bottom of the rib cage.
We asked some of the others there and one couple recommended the Water Gym product. I purchased one for myself and loved it, I let one of the other members try it and he ordered his own the next day. Then my wife tried it and it became hers. I have now ordered a second one for myself and it will be her soon.

The customer service rep was very helpful with making sure I ordered the correct belt. And shipping was super fast.

If your going to get in the water, save some money and buy this product first, you won't regret it.

For years I have used the deep water belt provided by my exercise facility. It would ride up or be too loose. Finally, I decided to buy my own from Watergym. What a difference!! It fits good and because it is my own; I don't have to adjust the size for every water class.

I just received my 2nd Water Gym after 8 years of enjoying the 1st one - because I lent mine to someone during COVID and now can't remember who has it!!!! I've been doing deep-water swim aerobics for over 10 years. And in those days all I could find were the standard, THICK and BULKY blue belts. They chafed under the arms, and were almost impossible to stuff into a suitcase. Then I found the Water Gym. So much smaller and thinner than the other ones. You forget you have it on. Very buoyant, very comfortable... You can do virtually any exercise in it. And I've taken it all over the world in the bottom of a duffle bag. It's a true Game Changer!

I’m a sinker and found the Size small belt gives me more confidence in the pool. The belt I originally ordered was a medium and a class mate tried it on, loved it, and bought it from me so that I didn’t have to return it.

I use it several times a week to gently do 30 laps over a period of 45 minutes in our community pool. It makes the laps easy and enjoyable while keeping me afloat.

Easy purchasing process and prompt shipping. I am overall pleased with the product that I received! I ordered a small and it fits me well (5'2" average-build female) and appears to be of good quality. The belt is elasticized, but remains snug. The blue padded/buoyancy material contours comfortably to my body when wearing, and is not too bulky (it does not interfere with movement). The only note I will mention is that it does not hold you out of the water as much as some other belts that offer a bit more buoyancy. For example, in the context of being in deep water, my shoulders and the base of my neck remain under the water, leaving only my mid-neck and head out of the water. NOTE FROM WATERGYM: Thank you for your kind review. Please know that we can custom pick a size small belt that is a bit longer for you to provide you more buoyancy, as you do not have to ride that low in the water if you don't prefer it. We work with our customers to make sure they are supported sufficiently, so give us a call to exchange!

I am so thrilled not only with my passion purple water belt (it really is the best belt EVER) but with he EXCELLENT customer service I received and the shipping was so fast I believe it took about 2 days.
On a side note, I was talking to my shallow water instructor and told her that I had purchased this belt. She also praised these belts and in fact she had purchased a belt (while they were still the classic style) many years ago and it is still holding up!

I have been taking deep water aerobics classes for over 8 years. The belts at the pool were pretty inferior so, one by one, all the regular participants have chosen to buy their own belts and Water Gym is the belt of choice. They stay in place as you exercise and are very durable. The medium size belt is perfect for exercise class workouts.
